Dr. Anna R. Kuo completed her BS at Yale University in 1985, her MD at Emory University School of Medicine in 1989, and her residency and chief residency in pediatrics at the University of Maryland in 1993. She is a former faculty member in the department of pediatrics at Emory, and joined Peachtree Park Pediatrics in 2000. Dr. Kuo currently serves on the board of directors for the American Board of Pediatrics, and is also active in the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, who recognized her in 2017 with their annual "Outstanding Achievement Award." She holds a clinical appointment with Emory, is president of the Emory University School of Medicine Alumni Board, and continues to teach medical students and pediatric residents in the office. Her professional interests include promotion of healthy lifestyles, pediatric behavior and development, care of the medically complex patient, and medical education. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, bootcamp and traveling with her family. Her newest hobby is serving as captain for a team of runners participating in 200 mile relay races, for which she runs the lowest amount of mileage as she can get away with. In her attempt to stay current with her children and patients, she is also practicing her selfie-taking techniques.
