Community Activities
The doctors and staff at Peachtree Park Pediatrics are proud to serve our community in various professional activities and volunteer work.
Dr. Robert Wiskind
PhysicianOver the past 20 years I have had numerous opportunities to become involved with pediatric organizations at the local, state and national level. As a long-time Board member for Kids Health First, an association of pediatric office throughout Atlanta, and as Immediate Past Chair of the Board of The Children's Care Network, a clinically integrated network involving Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and over 1200 local pediatricians and pediatric specialists, I have worked to strengthen our profession and improve coordination of care provided to children in our city. I have had the pleasure of serving in a number of positions in the state chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, culminating in a term as President from 2012 to 2014, and have also been involved in committees for the national AAP. This allows me to advocate for and improve the health of large populations of children, the perfect complement to the daily interactions I have at Peachtree Park Pediatrics with individual patients and families.
Dr. Anna Kuo
PhysicianI am proud to work extensively with two organizations which support medical education. For the past twenty years I have volunteered for the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to promote excellence in the healthcare of children and adolescents by setting high standards of certification for pediatricians. My roles in the ABP have included writing and reviewing exams, developing ongoing educational platforms, and in 2019, serving as Chair of the Board of Directors. And through the Emory Department of Pediatrics I have the opportunity to teach medical students and pediatric residents in the office, and promote what I think is the very best field any physician can select - primary care pediatrics. My other association with Emory is through the School of Medicine Medical Alumni Association, where I have served as President since 2017. In this position I not only network with alumni throughout the country to support the mission of the school, but also have the opportunity to meet with young future physicians who regularly inspire me with their dedication to medicine and helping others.

Practice AdministratorI have been involved for many years on committees with Kid's Health First, an association of pediatric practices here in Atlanta. I have served on the Practice Administrator Steering Committee, the Benchmarking Committee and the Quality Management Committee. I have also been involved in activities with the National American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Section on Practice Management and the Georgia Chapter of the AAP. Outside of my professional responsibilities I am a longtime volunteer with Happy Tails Pet Therapy. In 20 years and 3 dogs (currently my Golden Retriever Max) I have led volunteer visit teams at The Gwinnett Children's Shelter, the shelter for Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), and currently Skyland Trail. Max and I also have participated in many special events including Special Olympics, the annual CHoA Holiday Parade, and the Center for the Visually Impaired children's camp.
