Booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are now approved for children 5-11 years of age, to be given 5 months or more after completing the initial 2-dose series. We will offer booster doses to children in the office for sick visits and check-ups. In addition, we will schedule COVID clinics in the evening or on Saturday morning as staffing and vaccine supply permit.
We will notify you via email message and FB when these appointments are offered.
The booster dose is safe and effective and is recommended for all children, even those who have had COVID-19 or tested positive with minimal symptoms.
