Dr. Anna Kuo
Dr. Anna R. Kuo completed her BS at Yale University in 1985, her MD at Emory University School of Medicine in 1989, and her residency and chief residency in pediatrics at the University of Maryland in 1993. She is a former faculty member in the department of pediatrics at Emory, and joined Peachtree Park Pediatrics in 2000. Dr. Kuo is the past Chair of the Board of Directors for the American Board of Pediatrics, and is also active in the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, who recognized her in 2017 with their annual “Outstanding Achievement Award.” She holds a clinical appointment with Emory, is the past president of the Emory University School of Medicine Alumni Board, and continues to teach medical students and pediatric residents in the office. Her professional interests include promotion of healthy lifestyles, pediatric behavior and development, care of the medically complex patient, and medical education. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, bootcamp, and seeking out new experiences, including choir singing, where she is still figuring out whether she is an alto or a soprano. Travel and partaking in the local cuisine is her favorite pastime of all, and she is eager to resume globetrotting soon. When she can she tries to stay current with her children and patients by practicing her selfie-taking techniques.
Dr. Kuo is accepting new pediatric patients under the age of 17 years old.
