Parents of Peachtree Park Pediatrics,
We have been able to determine that we WILL be in-network with the Cigna + Oscar commercial plans. These plans are typically offered to small group employers and differ from the marketplace plans that use only the Oscar network.
Are we in-network with your plan?
– We ARE in-network if your insurance plan or card:
-
- says “Cigna + Oscar” and
- has a claims address of PO Box 188061, Chattanooga, TN and
- indicates there is no PCP or referral requirement
This plan is underwritten by Cigna, with whom we are contracted.
– We are NOT in-network if your insurance plan or card:
-
- only says “Oscar”,
- typically with a Phoenix, AZ claims address and
- requires a PCP for services
This is a separate plan through Oscar alone, with whom we are not contracted.
At this time, to the best of our knowledge, we are still not in-network for Aetna or United plans acquired through the marketplace or ACA Exchange. We will provide additional updates as we learn more.
We recognize this has been a very confusing and frustrating process. As our previous Insurance Update letter stated, trying to nuance the details of these plans that have come to the marketplace can be very challenging for parents, brokers and providers alike.
Providing your child with the best possible care is our highest priority, and we appreciate your patience in finding a plan we are in-network with.
