Carolyn Smith, Clinical Supervisor, joined Peachtree Park Pediatrics in 2017 after years as a certified maternal newborn nurse at Piedmont hospital. She has been in the medical field for over 20 years in both clinical and administrative positions. Carolyn is a 6th generation Dekalb County native living in Smoke Rise with her daughter, Lily Grace. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and are very involved in their church and homeschool group.

Joy Nichols has been a registered nurse for over 35 years and worked 14 years in the NICU and Newborn Nursery at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Joy is a life long resident of Smyrna. In her spare time she loves to travel, particularly to a beach, and spending time with her family. Joy is an IBCLC (International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant) who has worked at PPP since 2005.

Through a program of the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she visits physicians’ offices and hospitals throughout Atlanta and Georgia, training physicians and staff to be breastfeeding advocates.
